No More Dry Burgers: McDonald’s Overhauls Its Biggest Item In the heated competition for hamburger dominance, the fast-food chain has spent seven years making over its signature offering Earlier this year, McDonald’s came in 13th among U.S. chains based on the number of recent customers calling their burgers desirable, with only 28% of respondents saying they crave them, according to a survey of about 49,000 consumers by market research firm Technomic. White Castle led the list with 72%, and Burger King followed at 52%.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is now the #2 chicken 🐔 chain passing KFC. However, both Popeyes and KFC are losing market share to Chick-fil-A Restaurants which is the 800 pound 🦍 of the chicken sector. Popeyes now has 11.9% market share (down from 15% last year) while KFC has 11.3% market share (down from 16.1% market share last year). Meanwhile, Chick-fil-A’s market share moved from 38.3% last year and now stands at 45.5%. They basically gobbled up the market share losses of both Popeyes and KFC.
