Wellllll......I mean, facts, right? 🤷🏽♂️
AI is on everyone's minds in the world of events, but exactly how AI is supposed to move the needle within Event Tech and help event profs deliver more value to attendees is as vague as the sauce being drizzled in this video. My money's on chipotle mayo though.

How to productize AI in order to deliver a defensible and desired customer experience is one of the most important feats in the current AI landscape.
With all of the spending and competition in the AI infrastructure and developer tools space, one of the biggest opportunities is at the application layer to deliver value through a great product experience. Simply adding AI, or what you may think is your special "sauce," will not always be the right step.
Reach out if you are looking for help with productizing your experience or solution by incorporating AI.

What to do and what not to do with AI? Maybe do nothing... but you've got to be talking AI, if you are not, you are standing still. Its here. Its replacing things. Its speeding things up. Its changing the way we work, the way we live and the way we interact.
As AI continues to become more prevalent in our daily lives, it's important to stay informed about its impact and potential uses. Although some may argue that doing nothing is the best approach, it's crucial to keep the conversation going and stay up-to-date on the latest advancements.
PS - my original effort has been re-written by AI above..
Painfully true, except it's not "tech companies". Every company wants to include AI because it's that kind of technology. Having put AI into stuff from wristwatches, wall plugs, and credit cards to robots and virtual humans since about 2004, I would be the first to say that AI has a place in everything because good AI augments human capability.
So, how do we create exceptional AI applications? In the long run, AI must be taught rigorously in design schools (and I'm not referring to Midjourney or Sora). Despite its potential to augment humans, AI is still a foreign concept to our minds. The art of bridging this gap between a foreign concept and the human mind is called 'UX.' And AI, with its inherent complexity, demands the best possible UX we can deliver.
We hear a lot about explainable AI in the AI ethics community, but the most essential use of explainable AI is to make the inscrutable comprehensible. The best way to increase human capability is to teach invisibly so that over time, action transforms into habit and habit into process (teachable habits). For AI to truly be our collaborator, its users must understand it. Just because we don't teach models in the idiosyncratic ways we teach our children doesn't mean we cannot understand them because teaching a 3-year-old is certainly inscrutable. It is our responsibility as practitioners to bring that self-awareness to our work, and I look forward to the AI community turning that awareness into habit and, eventually, process.
There’s a growing interest in AI, with venture capitalists increasingly looking to invest in this technology. I’ve noticed a trend where many startups are integrating AI into their products or solutions—sometimes unnecessarily or excessively.
In my experience, true success is achieved by first understanding the problem and defining the challenge, then determining the best solution—not the other way around. What are your thoughts on this approach?

Watch this video to see the hilarious dangers of overdoing AI in everything. Even robots need a good reminder that 'less is often more' when it comes to sauce. 😉 😆 #AI#automation
Gotta love Krista Ewingfor this post that I'm reposting. Thoughts? Btw, the real issue with generative AI use is that it will enhance how human beings will work together.

The way I see it there are some who will leverage AI to reduce roles at a company and fire people. As long as work is defined by an hourly wage and time on task, AI will be used to grind people over profits.
My prediction is that's going to happen but it's not going to last.
The reason is because roles are created by people, not the other way around.
If we know anything about life on planet Earth we know that adaptation and specialization are the underlying mechanisms of evolution. We'll adapt and specialize in our roles at work as well.
As for the General AI taking over the world, well that's a concern because people in high places have been trying to do that on their own for centuries without AI. And as we've seen, those folks are very keen and capable of weaponizing any technology they get their hands on.
Enjoy the extra sauce
Excelsior.

The perfect analogy...btw, now i'm hungry. :)
