🌟 Back to work (after a week at the beach!) 🌟 As the owner of a SME, the propsect of taking time off and "letting go" can be a daunting one - in fact, I remember many of my childhood holidays were planned around Dad visiting a customer or supplier (not a moan, I loved the adventure of visiting unconventional holiday destinations!) However, when we underwent our succession process, Dad encouraged me to do it my way and not miss out on life's precious moments. So at the start of this year we set out to implement the many amazing #EOS tools at J-Flex Rubber Products. As Traction aficionados will know, having the "right people in the right seats" is an essential part of the process, and having a Senior Leadership Team that "buys in" and is committed to the implementation of EOS is a must. Althought it's early days, the initial signs are encouraging. The team have: 📈 Quaterly rocks - specific, measurable, achieveable, realistic & timebound 🤝 Weekly Level-10 meetings 🙌 Celebrated successes 💡 Adopted a continuous improvement mindset (and are not afraid to challenge or feedback) For the first time since I started at J-Flex, I've managed a week away without my phone ringing and without a mountain of e-mails that need actioning, all because of an incredibly talented group of people: 👏 Chris Barnes, Chris Briscoe, Les Shaw, Andrew Rhodes, Mark Awcock, Neil Duckmanton, Rachel Chapman + those who aren't on LinkedIn 👏 So with Dad's words ringing in my ears, I've tried to do it my way and not miss out on life's precious moments, like errr, this...

I've spent the last 2 years speaking with HR, Talent, People & Capability Leaders of some of the largest companies in Asia-Pacific about the highly complex issue that is The Future of Work, Skills & Talent. What's become abundantly clear is a few things: 1. The "need" for a solution for the issue of talent, skills and work is undeniable. 2. The "category" is still forming, but the fact that there will BE a category, is also undeniable. 3. No company has true product market fit...yet. But there are some incredibly mission driven people doing a great job in making strides towards this goal. To that end, I've just joined Reejig as an Enterprise Account Director & to be part of their journey in shaping the future of the category. It's not everyday that you get the opportunity to make an actual difference with the work that you do. I want to share the experience of being part of a team like LUSTER, where we constantly challenge our comfort zones and face new goals 🔥. 🎯 We tackle objectives TOGETHER and support each other to ensure that the project direction stays on track. The most important aspect of us as a team is that we understand that the personal values we bring from our formation as individuals are crucial and guide our professional values. Human quality is everything. At the end of 2023, we decided to project the future collaboratively with the core team of Luster. TEAM TALK - VOL. 5 🖐️ Everyone, say hi to Dan (our go-to, always-up-to-the-task man). 🤜🤛 Today, we’re shining a spotlight on our Head of Business Development, Daniel Hall. Dan joined the Farosian team just over five years ago and quickly became a key pillar within our company after showcasing his skills and unwavering tenacity in sales and business development. Dan is part of Farosian’s furniture and has played a vital role in building our company from the ground up, learning a lot about business and himself along the way. When Dan is not hard at work, you can find him running on the beach with his dogs (otherwise known as his children) or cheering on his favourite football teams, which, judging by his weekly updates in our team meetings, don’t seem to be doing so well. ⚽️ Fun fact about Dan: he is a dad-joke connoisseur.
