🤔🤔Is it worth doing the Nebosh safety and management program after one year of apprenticeship training at HPCL? I just completed my one-year apprenticeship at HPCL and I'm considering the next steps in my professional development. One option that stands out is the Nebosh safety and management program. Given my experience with fire engine sheds, hydrant line maintenance, and various inspections related to safety and efficiency at HPCL, I believe this certification could significantly enhance my expertise and career prospects. Our Top 3 CSCS Questions - How do I get a green CSCS card? Answer - two separate elements are required, a H&S qualification as well as passing the Operatives health, safety and environment test. Both these parts can be undertaken within the week here at Raeburn Training. 2. What do I need to do to upgrade my green card to blue or gold? Answer - Separate industry qualifications needs to be held in order to apply for a higher level card. These demonstrate a level of skill for the blue skilled worker card by having undertaken an approved apprenticeship or a level 5 SVQ and similarly for the gold advanced craft / skilled worker card, again an approved apprenticeship or construction related SVQ level 6. Answer - It depends on the card type, but in general they can be renewed up to 6 months prior and 6 months after the expired date on the card (although expired cards may not be acceted by the employer/main contractor), the routes to renew popular ones are detailed below, and along with these guidelines, an application to CITB along with an application fee of £36 is required - 🟢Green - these cannot be renewed, and holders have to apply for a brand new card. They must submit a valid H&S qualification as well as a pass in the HS&E operatives test gained within the last 2 years. 🔵 🟡 Blue / Gold – these cannot be renewed, and holders have to apply for a brand new card. To apply for your blue card, you must have a valid NVQ Level 2 SVQ Level 3 qualification. To apply for your gold card, you must have a valid NVQ level 3 or SVQ Level 3 qualification as well as pass the HS&E operatives test gained within the last 2 years. Academically and professionally qualified - these cannot be renewed, and holders have to apply for a brand new card.
