Make registration a quick, pleasant experience for your attendees. Plan ahead with alphabetized name badges, pre-stuffed swag bags, and limit questions to 2-3 things. Other than that, use registration as an opportunity to connect with your people. Welcome them, ask what they're excited for, follow up on a conversation you had in the planning stages. Everyone expects check-in to be chaotic, but try not to let the stress overtake your hosting skills. Enjoy the one-on-one opportunities with individuals who put their time and resources into being there with you.
