Voting for the party that espouses your values is when democracy works. Voting against a party by voting for who you think others will elect is like propagating the problem you're hoping to eliminate. No wait, it's not like that, it's -exactly- that. Establishment parties all contributed to getting us where we are, we are (perpetually) fooling ourselves if we keep fuelling this odd notion that the liberals alone are to blame. It wasn't any of the establishment parties that brought mandates to an end, it was the Freedom Convoy and not even the Tories could raise their voices to support them. "Conservative" the OP calls them. Yeah, right. Vote PPC and be done with all the establishment parties, liberal, NDP, Tories, etc.

It's high time that every provincial government defy the liberal government and do what's right for its citizens. The liberals cater to Ontario and Quebec and ignore the west. We demand to be better represented for our own interests. We are tired of dancing to the music of two provinces whose greed and corruption control our lives. The electoral system in Canada is a farce and must be changed. Further, the federal NDP are using extortion to to get what they want and to keep their money grabbing hands in the public coffers. If this played out in the corporate world, they would be charged and likely convicted of extortion. Why is it permitted in government?

As a Canadian who now lives in Los Angeles I am so sad to see what is happening to my country. There was a time when people would say "Where are you from?" I used to say "Vancouver." I now say "Los Angeles."

'Dunno whether to sh**or go blind laughing'...this nonsensical Canadian voting advice coming from a foreign national, a well revered public comical character: a U.S. Citizen and the Simpson family daughter 'Lisa' who never wears pants nor shirts...yet now somehow is an all knowing political GURU.

Terrible logic the same can be said for the conservative voters. This logic shows the problem with the Canadian electoral system. People should vote for their favourite choice period. Proportional representation is needed.

Bill. You are absolutely correct. Canada is in deep financial times. We need an election now, not two years,in October 2025.
