They suggest architecture is about freedom, generosity, pleasure. Large spaces generate an essential feeling of escape and freedom. Large spaces facilitate appropriation, foster relationships within spaces, to allow for pleasurable situations, to encourage relations between people and promote social life. Enlarging does not mean wasting. Enlarging does not mean costing more. It means inventing space for uses and going beyond the norms and standards which reduce the living space. “TRANSFORMATION IS THE OPPORTUNITY OF DOING MORE AND BETTER WITH WHAT IS ALREADY EXISTING. What's it like working with a team to produce Let's Build #architecture events all year? From graphics, social media, and copy to speakers, venues, food & drink, sponsors, and more, it’s a whirlwind! Lockdown got us comfy working solo even with a remote team (in the background kind-of), but now we're still itching for face-to-face, in-person human interactions. Since it ended, we still crave in-person human interactions and connections. For most of us, the shift back to the office shows it, and is (still) teaching us how to juggle being in-person and working with a remote team online/ others working-from-home. It's like we forgot how to socialize, but now we're relearning! Being in a team of 10, 15, 20? It’s no walk in the park—dealing with different personalities and work styles can be tough. Collaborating with our team (some in-person and remote) is interesting. But, we thrive on it, producing top-notch events every year. This year is no different; we’re back at London Festival of Architecture AGAIN!
