Today, I had the great pleasure to join the TVARIT team EUROGUSS representing one of the most important fairs of the casting industry in Germany. I had the big pleasure to support the team around Jürgen Schmiezek to bring the idea of ‘creating a booth that challenges established players and shows our drive forward, yet still focuses on what really counts: interaction. Building a great #eventconcept if you have brand provenance, sufficient budget and time is one thing. Delivering on the need for speed and efficient execution within a few weeks, with new colleagues and almost non-existent communication guidelines is another. I just love it! And here we go, on the way to this year’s TVARIT booth, we didn’t only create a cool #3dbillboard and an industrial design style. We actually started a journey to define an identity around TiA, the only casting-specific AI solution. Wonderful panel discussion at #savantecom Copenhagen with candid and valuable input from the panelists 💪 Jesper shared how his organisation creates clear paths for growth and career advancement. Notes taken! 📝 Sean gave his perspective on choosing to handle end-to-end recruitment personally, taking deep responsibility for getting the right people on the bus. Thomas gave us a window into the complicated task of equipping a multi-100-person distributed team with the responsibility and freedom to deliver the experience of a lifetime to customers. Being reminded how very different every organisation is, and how team structures and processes changes along with strategic priorities is energising stuff.

I'm thrilled to share the exciting news that my colleague, Stine Wøien and Vipo AS, made the front page of Drammen’s Tidende last week. Vipo AS, formerly known as Trelleborg Offshore and perhaps better known as “Kalosjen,” is rapidly climbing the list of the 100 largest companies in Drammen. “It's the people who make the difference,” says a proud CEO and owner. In today's fast-paced business landscape, recruiting top talent is imperative for companies with ambitious growth goals. As we navigate the intricacies of existing and new markets, as well as the ever-evolving world of emerging technologies, the right people make all the difference. Third Generation Inside the laboratory, lab engineer Stine Wøien (31) is at work. Like several others, she is the third generation in the company; both her mother and grandfather worked at the factory. She started in May this year. I have a master's degree in biotechnology from NTNU in Trondheim and now come from UiO, where I worked on medical research for seven years. While it was a job where results perhaps took many years to materialize, here I can get involved in the actual production and see the results of what I'm working on, she says. Stine's recognition in Drammens Tidende underscores the importance of attracting and retaining individuals with the skills, passion, and dedication to drive our organizations forward. Our mission to excel in existing markets while venturing into new ones requires a blend of experience, innovation, and resilience – qualities that Stine exemplifies. Her background in science and her talents are integral to our company's growth strategy. We're excited about the journey ahead at Vipo AS, and we know that Stine's and her colleagues’ background and talents will be instrumental in helping us meet our growth ambitions.
