**The Value of Being Part of a Team:
My Personal Journey from Little League to SalesStar**
From Little League baseball to high school football, and from my time as a Plank Owner on the USS Comstock (LSD 45) to my current role at SalesStar, being part of a team has shaped who I am.
In Little League, I was placed in the outfield so stronger players could cover for me. In high school, I was a starter on both offense and defense, where my strengths helped propel the team. But it was in the Navy, on the USS Comstock, that I truly understood the power of teamwork. Our ship's motto, "Teamwork, Drive, Courage," wasn't just words—it was a way of life. We worked as a cohesive unit, with complete belief in each other's abilities, our team's capabilities, and our overarching mission.
I've also experienced the other side of the coin in business teams plagued by dysfunction, where members were only interested in themselves, and competing objectives led to minimal success. I thought my Navy experience was the pinnacle of teamwork until I joined SalesStar.
