As I reflect on my first 6-month rotation in Lenovo's Global Supply Chain Rotational Program, I'm thrilled to share the strides I've made, particularly in optimizing the North American Demand Planning Process. In my role as a Product Optimization Manager under the guidance of Paul Scaini, Mark Bica & Wayne Evans I've spearheaded several key projects: • Product Management Projects: Enhanced Demand Planning Accuracy through Pipeline Hygiene Process Improvement Tools and led the North America Win Room Digital Transformation Project. • Worldwide Transformation Projects: Developed a Geo Demand Plan Process Map for Many Geographies Worldwide (North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, Japan, & Latin America) & Made a Worldwide Validation Requirements Matrix for our Geo Demand Planners to add clarity on expectations. • GSC Smart Ops Project: Created the Unique Parts & Opportunity Risk Dashboard to allow Commodity Planners improved visibility in parts allocation. • AI Projects: Co-Authoring a whitepaper on the development Healthcare LLM PoC and Elevated Lenovo's Global Supply Chain AI narrative through collaboration with AI development & marketing teams. My accomplishments during this period include: • Engaged with over 10 cross-functional teams involved in planning globally, fostering collaboration and understanding. • Identified and addressed the major gaps in the planning process, complete with actionable recommendations. • Presented my findings and proposed solutions to executive leadership, earning project endorsement from the North America General Manager of ISG Sales. • Successfully completed 5 Geo Demand Plan process improvement projects, working across multiple teams. • Increased Demand Planning Accuracy up to 20% Month over Month through Pipeline Hygiene Process Improvement Tools & Process Changes. Beyond project work, I've also taken on roles that contribute to our corporate culture and outreach: • I organized and moderated an AI Headshot and RoundTable Discussion Event as the Rising Employees at Lenovo ERG Engage Leader. • Won the GSC RP AI Competition, paving the way for further AI project explorations. • Served as the ESG/AI Focal for the GSC Strategic Communication Project. This journey with Early Careers at Lenovo has been nothing short of transformative, and I'm eager to see where the next rotation takes me as I continue the implementation of these projects on the Product Management team. #SupplyChainInnovation #wearelenovo

This past May, I graduated with my MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. While there, I learned as much about myself and my motivations as I did about business. It was truly a transformative experience. This past June, I began working for a small call center in St. Louis, Mo. This experience, too, was transformative. At the call center, I met some incredible people including 2 co-workers who had written poetry books (that I bought), one co-worker who had ambitions of working in Web design for a company like Google, others with ambitions of moving up within the company, and even others who were great at their job and loved telling stories about their pets or their children. However, what was missing was opportunity. While there, the call center reps were separated both physically and metaphorically from Leadership. Leadership would pass us every day and no, "Hello", no, "How was your weekend?", let alone no, "What are your ambitions and what have you overcome?" For the first time throughout my career, I felt unseen, and others felt it too. Surprisingly, what both business school and the call center taught me is that: (1) People bring value at all levels of an organization and (2) people are much more than the roles that they are hired into. Knowing your people is both the right thing to do and good business. As I begin my post-MBA career at Accenture, I'm happy to be joining a company that is committed to providing opportunity to their people, regardless of their background. New job signed & sealed! Most of my recent focus went into shaping exactly where I'll play next, prompted by a noisy opportunity field that calls for a strong personalized filter... This collision of MasterCard vibes & burning insight came to me in the shower 2-3 months ago 😅. Sharing miro version here, because it guided me to the most attractive opportunities & meaningful debates into the future of consumer marketing. The sweet spot you see here (product x brand worlds) is where I've experienced peak productive tension, joy, team connection, vision & value creation (share & market size). It's where consumers live & spend, and a lot of organizations still aren't wired to enable it. It's about structure & so much more: interconnected thinking & culture (harder to nail). With a career born in the product world & moving right, my next role feels natural: global responsibility for a consumer brand, end-to-end, from product innovation & portfolio management to brand strategy & communication, anchored by the sweet spot. I'll be doing this at a German consumer company committed to global leadership through one-of-a-kind product x brand experiences; it has the right attitude & ingredients to do this. Just two weeks into my new role at Adobe, and I'm already feeling incredibly grateful for my manager. We often see posts about "toxic bosses" (and trust me, I've had a couple), but today I want to shine a light on what great leadership looks like. My manager? She's not just a manager – she's a true leader. Here's why: 🌟Trust and Flexibility: She believes in giving us autonomy. No clock-watching here – it's about getting the work done. 🌟Work-Life Balance: Need to hit the gym, see a doctor, or take your fur baby to the vet? No problem. She gets that we have lives outside of work. 🌟Open to New Ideas: Fresh perspectives? Bring 'em on! She's always ready to listen and consider new approaches. 🌟Genuine Care: Our one-on-ones aren't just about work. We chat about life, our passions, even the "work" we do outside of work. It's clear she cares about us as people, not just employees. 🌟Supportive: She's constantly checking in to make sure I'm not overwhelmed in these first few weeks. (I'm not, but it means a lot that she asks.) 🌟Proactive: Before heading off on vacation, she made sure to set up time for me to meet her manager. And guess what? That convo was just as laid-back and awesome. 🌟Has My Back: When I forgot to mention my leadership development experience to her manager, she jumped right in to highlight it for me. After some not-so-great experiences in the past, I feel like I've hit the jackpot this time. Here's to leaders who inspire, support, and truly care about their team. Today marks the culmination of a year-long journey within the Adobe Leadership Circles program through the Leadership Research Institute. Over the past year, I have undertaken a profound introspection, delving into my identity and contemplating the trajectory of my career and life. The vision I have crafted for my professional and personal journey is intrinsic to my core being. I express profound gratitude for the opportunity to showcase my authentic self to the world. As a designer, developer, wife, and mother, I embrace my diverse passions without hesitation. This transformative experience has given me a heightened awareness of my leadership strengths, encompassing Strategic, Competitive, Activator, Futuristic, and Significance attributes. This newfound consciousness propels my unwavering commitment to amplify my contributions within Adobe. I aspire to attain loftier objectives and leave a lasting impact on the trajectory of the business. My unequivocal goal is to ascend to a senior leadership position within Adobe, and I am resolute in my determination never to give up. The vision I have set for myself is clear: I am a forward-thinking leader who excels in uniting people and cutting-edge technology to attain extraordinary results. 

This week I celebrate 25 years at Microsoft! As the quarter century mark sinks in😮, I reflect on the many amazing experiences that have stretched me, as well as the wonderful relationships established, and which continue to grow. I would like to thank three managers that made a big impact on me, both personally and professionally: Lisa Burns: thank you for your guidance and care during those "early years". Your integrity, curiousness, and listen-first approach made you a great manager and role model. I learned so much about EQ from you. Matt Roberts: thank you for distilling the complex and your unwavering focus on the customer. I learned how to navigate tough customer situations with empathy and the importance of reaching "win-win" outcomes. Bob Maher: thanks for giving me the opportunity to try something new. Your can-do approach, keen decision making, and learner-centric mindset make you a fantastic role model. I learned the importance of consistent coaching, and the value of well-timed levity. Thank you all for your integrity, guidance and support! You made (and continue to make) a difference! Managers are why people stay or leave, and I am truly thankful for these three! If you have not recognized a manager for the impact they made in your own journey, I encourage you to do so.

The end of the year is always full of contemplation and reflection. Imagine the end of an era. When we say titans of tech, or think of legends of industry, we will all have our own thoughts. For me though, recognising a person that had a profound affect on my career and thought process is important to share. I was lucky enough to have Bruce Ferguson as my boss when we built out Global Retail at ThoughtWorks, but that was just the beginning of a relationship, mentorship and friendship that saw wave after wave of: Ground breaking innovation - the birth of 'Modern Retail,' TW Ventures, Paradigm Shift and changing a tech savvy leader to become 'business relevant'. Geographic expansion - we went to so many new countries world-wide, created new cultural footprints, made our mark. Created new foundations. Realising the full potential of talent - you hired and un-locked so many incredible people that have gone on to even bigger and better things, but team building was one of your strongest attributes. 'Servant Leadership' - a term often used, but rarely executed with 100% true meaning. You epitomise this. This post is far to short to capture what you have meant to so many people, but in these final few days of the most incredible career, unlike any other I know - longevity, integrity, relevance, growth, innovation, you are the model I and many others aspire to be. Happy retirement Bruce. You will always be our 'man-of-action'. Missed for sure, but long lasting through the people you looked after and ALWAYS looked out for! The unconventional path I took to VP 🚀 Most people think the road to leadership is a straight line. Mine looked more like a roller coaster. 🎢 Here's my journey: 1. Didn’t go to University (sorry, Mom!) 🎓❌ 2. Started as a cleaner at a local hospital 🧹 3. Taught myself Microsoft products during night shifts 💻🌙 4. Secured my first job with no real experience 💰 5. Jumped jobs 3 times in 4 years 🦘 6. Got sworn at 7 times by the CEO in a meeting😱 7. Turned that experience into a company-wide learning opportunity 📈 8.
