4-Channel 5700Vrms Rated Digital Isolator Devices Expanding the breadth of its isolation product portfolio, Infineon Technologies has just announced the release of a series of quad-channel ISOFACE devices. These new digital isolators come in 2 different sub-series - the automotive-grade 4DIRx4xxHA and the industrially-focused 4DIRx4xxH. They both support 5700Vrms isolation voltages and offer a >100kV/µs common mode transient immunity - thereby enabling circuitry to be fully protected and signal noise minimised. Their broad supply voltage range spans from 2.7V to 6.5V, and they draw an absolute maximum of 1.6mA per channel even when operating at speeds reaching 1Mbps. The 4DIRx4xxHA isolators can be used in vehicles’ onboard chargers (OBCs), battery management system (BMS) hardware, traction inverters and motor control systems.
