The much-awaited Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP) posted nominations for the first time on its electronic bulletin board on June 15th. With FactSet's recently launched Gas Pipeline Flow data feed, you can get daily nominations for MVP and 200 other gas pipelines across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. Using this data feed, users can conduct daily market analysis with access to regularly updated data from over 20,000 meters. For example, we can see below that MVP has only reached 400 MMcf/d on June 16, which is consistent with BTU Analytics’ view that downstream constraints analyzed with this feed will likely prevent MVP from filling its 2-Bcf/d nameplate capacity for some time.
