Kubernetes Community Days - KCD Italy’s Post

Smooth sailing for Kubernetes Community Days - KCD Italy ⛵️ Three hundred people in the heart of Italy 🇮🇹 to celebrate the Italian, European, and Worldwide Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) community 🌍 It was an honor to keynote this event and give a talk about building empowering communities ( video coming soon on https://lnkd.in/et388bZ6 ). The story I told on stage struck a chord in many people, reminding them of the first time they've participated in a community. It was a great feeling to hear this feedback from the attendees. Big Kudos to the organizers Jacopo N., ⎈ Dario Tranchitella, Sara Trappetti, Annalisa Gennaro, Evangelista Tragni, Michel Murabito 🚀, Giovanni D'Anna, Paolo Mainardi, and Maria Pina Di Cataldo for the great work they have put over the past months to make this event possible. I had the chance to lurk around their Slack channels and learned a lot just by reading their conversations and discussions. This group is truly unique. As with every KCD, meeting new and old friends like William Rizzo, Carla Gaggini, ✺ Federica Nocerino ✺, Alessandro Vozza, Whitney Lee, Viktor Farcic, Mauro Morales is always great. Thank you for making this event even more special and for all the late-night laughs :) Finally, if there is one lesson I learned from this experience, it is that often, it's the perspective we use to see things that defines something as "positive" or "negative". At times, it's just about taking that perspective and "flipping it" into something better 🙃 🦈 Looking forward to KCD Italy 2025 🎉
