Just like a queen decides who enters and leaves her kingdom, you have the power to choose who gets to be a part of your life. Let's dive into how you can take control and make decisions that best serve your personal kingdom. ✅🫵1. You Decide Who Enters Your Kingdom: As the queen of your castle, you have the authority to hire people into your life. These could be friends, partners, or mentors who bring positivity, support, and growth. Think of it as inviting loyal subjects into your kingdom. Choose people who respect you, uplift you, and contribute to your well-being. Remember, your castle is a special place, and not everyone deserves a key. ✅🫵2. When I look at the chessboard, I'm always struck by the queen’s ability to just... go wherever she wants. She's like this force, moving in all sorts of directions, always adaptable. And you know what? That's life in a nutshell, isn't it? Throughout my own journey, it's become pretty clear that life doesn’t always go in a straight line. Tbh, sometimes it feels like I'm being pulled in a million directions at once. But that queen, with her versatile moves, kind of reminds me of the beauty in those unpredictable turns. There's something to be said about embracing change, you know? Not just dealing with it, but genuinely welcoming it. Sure, life throws curveballs, but like the queen, I've learned to move with them, to pivot when needed. It's not about sticking to a set path; it's about being open to the journey, wherever it may lead. And just like our queen doesn't limit herself to one part of the board, why should we limit ourselves in life? Life's full of different paths, twists, and turns. Sometimes, the best experiences come from the most unexpected places. It's all about being flexible and rolling with the punches. In short, the queen's got it figured out. She embraces her versatility, and she’s a powerhouse because of it. Life's going to be full of surprises, but instead of fearing them, I'm learning to move with them. If you were given the opportunity to dance backwards down Queen St in front of over 100,000+ people, would you do it? What if it meant helping to bring someone else's vision to life? What about if it meant leading a group of kids so they can do their dance well, whilst looking like a literal backwards-dancing tribal queen? Would you be willing to do what it takes to bring smiles to thousands of people, even if it means looking like a [insert adjective + noun] for an hour? Would you do it to help achieve the larger goal? I was. I did. I "danced" backwards down Queen St at the Farmers Santa Parade last weekend and it was great fun. The kids did so well, we loved seeing the smiles of everyone watching as we played our small part. What I learned: Being part of a team with a shared goal is rewarding when it all comes together. Playing your part, no matter what it is, is important... participate in the vision. Say 'yes!'. Do your part well. Have fun. Dance like no one is watching.
