Shout out to Colorado Governor's Office of Information Technology teams for their response to the Crowdstrike outage on Friday. I can only imagine the incredible effort to coordinate assistance and respond to CO counties to get DMV and other State managed technology services back online as quickly as they did. Thank you!

I am grateful to have known and worked with Rob. He was a breath of fresh air, a trusted partner who cultivated positivity and creativity with the teams he worked with. He will be missed and my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

I have had some time to reflect on the 2024 CGAIT Summer conference in Snowmass, CO last week where local government IT pros from around the state gathered to geek out on what we are doing to empower our residents and staff with technology that make our communities a better place to live and work. Thank you to our keynote speakers Mark Cruth, Amina Al Sherif, and Karah Maloley for sharing their expertise and knowledge on the topics of experimenting with modern work practices, the application of artificial intelligence in local government, and learning agility (mental, people, change, and results) for professional growth. I’ve got 6 more months in the role of president of this great organization, and am looking forward to preparing for the fall conference. #cgait

Congrats to Juntos Colorado, the regional chapter of the Local Government Hispanic Network for putting on a great conference today. I really enjoyed the mariachis during lunch. Nice touch!

Two new positions have just been posted! The Public Safety Application Administrator position will focus on supporting the systems of the amazing Broomfield Police Department and the Application Administrator will support the other Broomfield departments' systems. The 2 new people selected to join our team will play a crucial role in performing day-to-day system configuration, training, support, maintenance and improvements plus you get to work and play on a pretty amazing team.
