This might sound gimmicky - But I promise it isn't. I have been practicing what I call "Failing To Completion". Similar to when lifting - It's putting in reps until I ultimately fail. EVEN when failure is inevitable. It's not: going as long as I can and hoping that something works out. In the face of inevitable failure that would be insanity. It is: putting every last ounce of effort I have into finishing the thing that I started. Even if I have no hope that whatever I'm working on will ever pay off. Giving the entirety of my effort to the task that it deserves, so nothing is left on the table. What has this done for me? - It's allowed me to do work for the sake of improving my craft. Even if the single effort won't succeed. - It's allowed me to focus more on progress than perfection. - It's forced me to do MORE work, which is necessary for development. - And it's inspired me to hang onto things for a longer period of time. Quitting early less, and ultimately succeeding more. I've found that I grow a lot faster when I gift myself a few extra reps every time I set out to work. I can always change direction, but seeing things through to the finish has giving me many more chances to learn before I do.

In a world full of distractions and constant demands on our attention, cultivating discipline is more important than ever. It is the key to unlocking our full potential and achieving success in the workplace. So, what exactly is discipline? It's the ability to stay focused, motivated, and committed to our goals, even when faced with challenges and temptations. It's about showing up consistently, putting in the necessary effort, and holding ourselves accountable for our actions and decisions. Discipline is not just about working hard; it's about working smart. It's about prioritizing tasks, managing time effectively, and making intentional choices that align with our objectives. When we are disciplined, we are better equipped to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results. 😊

My favourite month of the year. 😃👏🏻 Using June as a mid-year checkpoint is a great strategy to assess progress and make adjustments for the rest of the year. Personally, here are 6 steps to effectively utilize my mid-year review: 1. Review Goals: Look back at the goals i set at the beginning of the year. Am i on track? What progress have i made? 2. Assess Achievements: List out my accomplishments from the first half of the year. Definitely celebrate successes, no matter how small. (Makes me feel happier) 😁 3. Identify Challenges: Consider the obstacles i’ve encountered. What hindered my progress? 4. Reevaluate Priorities: Sometimes priorities change. Make sure my goals still align with my current values and circumstances. 5. Seek Feedback: Get input from mentors, colleagues, or friends. Their perspectives can provide valuable insights. 6. Practice Self-care: Ensure i am taking care of my mental and physical well-being. Balance is key to sustained productivity and success. ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻 I make meaningful adjustments to my plans, ensuring a successful second half of the year. What are your strategies and thoughts?
