Yesterday, we welcomed about 140 kids to our headquarters in Cambridge to celebrate Bring A Kid to Work Day in the U.S. We had an amazing range of educational and hands-on activities that brought our science and the impact of our medicines to life. What we do at Blueprint Medicines is important as we aim to change the lives of patients all over the world with our medicines. We recognize that #BlueCrew families contribute to this mission. By supporting the Blue Crew in pursuing their work, then their kids, spouses and all other family members and friends are helping the patients we serve, too. I am deeply grateful for my own family’s support, as well as the support that all Blue Crew families provide.    We also know that these young people visiting Blueprint are going to be the next generation to change the world. Maybe one day they will discover a new medicine or build a company that helps people live better lives. Our goal today is to help them learn, grow and dream big as the talent of tomorrow, all while having fun.

At Blueprint Medicines, we are building scale in allergy and inflammation with our evolving franchise focused on mast-cell mediated diseases. Mast cells are an important, yet often underappreciated, target to treat a range of allergic and inflammatory disorders. On April 25, we're hosting an educational R&D roundtable where we will discuss the importance of mast cells in driving the pathogenesis of a diverse set of diseases, such as systemic mastocytosis and chronic urticaria, and how the core role of mast cell biology provides compelling opportunities for therapeutic intervention.

We received two amazing awards this week, recognizing Blueprint Medicines as one of the 10 most innovative companies in medicines and therapeutics for 2024 by Fast Company and as a 2024 Top Workplace USA for a third year running by USA TODAY. These recognitions span both the incredible impact we are having on patients globally as well as the impact our unique culture has on our Blue Crew team members and their ability to do their best work. At Blueprint, we know that the work each of us does every day matters, and the results of the efforts we make day after day are often best measured year by year. Congratulations, #BlueCrew.

I’m incredibly honored to be recognized on the inaugural #CNBCChangemakers list of female business leaders. It’s a privilege to sit alongside this group of impressive women across industries.

At Blueprint Medicines, we have successfully brought forward important, fundamental new medicines for patients since our founding 13 years ago. I am honored to join in discussions at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) CEO & Investor Conference about strategies for maintaining an innovation-enabling environment, which may allow companies like Blueprint to deliver more transformational medicines in future. Please join me at our panel discussion today about overcoming challenges in oncology drug discovery and development.

I had a great time at #JPM24 with the Blueprint Medicines team kicking off the year with our plan to continue making our mission our reality, realizing the harmony between helping patients and building a strong and thriving business. It is our people who drive the success of Blueprint Medicines, and I want to thank all of my Blueprint colleagues for their hard work, contributions and dedication to our mission as we hit the ground running in 2024 with significant momentum.

Happy to be back at #ASH23 this weekend, where we will be sharing our continued research and innovation in systemic mastocytosis, a life threatening, debilitating and often misunderstood disease.

Unfortunately, most of us know what it feels like to have a loved one get a devastating diagnosis. During this month dedicated to shining light on the important role of family caregivers, I want to recognize those who care for loved ones facing difficult health conditions. At Blueprint Medicines, our goal is to help patients transition from a devastating diagnosis to a hopeful reality, enabled by innovative new medicines that allow them to lay down their fears, plan for the future, and do all the things they love and that make life worth living. By doing this, we can impact not only that patient but also their caregivers, family, friends, and the communities they are a part of.

With our positive CHMP Opinion from the European Medicines Agency for indolent systemic mastocytosis, we are one step closer to bringing the first treatment targeting the source of ISM to patients across Europe. Congratulations to the members of the #BlueCrew for achieving this significant milestone.
