First, we want to work with #seeds of positive change - pockets of the future in the present. Although these may be (currently) niche and marginal, they show how things can work differently.  2. Second, we are approaching this from a #climatechange perspective: looking at new and/or preferred ways of development cooperation through the lens of climate change.  Our first step is to identify existing seeds of positive change* that point to alternative preferred futures.  These can be small-scale, experimental projects and initiatives, at the margin of the current world and worldviews, that employ new ways of thinking or doing; or they can be new social institutions, technologies, or frameworks for understanding the world that could serve as alternative models for global cooperation.   We are specifically looking for seeds dealing with, or related to, climate change – as a way to address fundamental development cooperation issues such as #distributive #justice, #financing , #political will, #trust and more.    Because such seeds may be widely scattered, we hope to attract as varied a group of contributions as possible.  Please join us by contributing your example of a seed by filling in this short survey https://lnkd.in/de_cfWBC     We invite you to respond as soon as possible, but no later than 22 September.  Thank you in advance for sending us your thoughts.  Lessons and inspirations from this work will be shared widely, and we encourage you to help spread the word.  [Feel free to forward this request to others who would be interested.]  Meanwhile, should you have any questions, please contact us at tanja.hichert@undp.org   * We call them “seeds” in reference to the Seeds of Good Anthropocenes see here: https://lnkd.in/d6pT6Mvu https://lnkd.in/dPavwsi3

In October, I asked for suggestions on #Sustainability and #socialimpact consulting firms and any insights on recruitment timelines. What resulted was a bit surprising and overwhelming; I received a few 100 comments and suggestions! What became clear was that this sort of list didn't exist, and if one did, that it could be a helpful resource for folks.   I took these comments/suggestions back to my Sustainable Innovation MBA (SI-MBA) students at the University of Vermont Grossman School of Business to help research and organize this information. In particular, Cate Starmer and Casey Dean, MSW, raised their hands (thank you!!) to help organize this content.
