At Katapult Network, our goal is to set our candidates up for long term success. Here’s a review from Josh T., who’s been with his company for almost a year, now: “Katapult Network worked great for me as a recent graduate. I primarily worked with AJ, and he was great through the mock interview. The feedback I received was very helpful during my actual interview process. It is clear that they are very well connected. After job searching extensively on Indeed, it was nice to actually receive feedback from employers and know that my resume wasn’t just being tossed to the side. At first, I was shown a few positions that didn’t necessarily spark my interest. However, after giving my feedback they got a better feel for what I was looking for and continued to curate the positions they showed me to my wants/needs. I was able to work with Brian as well which was awesome. He’s very well connected and got me an interview for a position that really got me excited. I have been with this company now for almost a year and it really was what I was looking for. Overall my experience with Katapult was great. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed with the job search and it was great to have well connected people help me along the way. Not only did they help me find the position, but they worked to ensure I had the best chance of getting the job.” - Josh T. Thanks for sharing your story, Josh! We’re so glad we could help you find a position you enjoy! #katapultnetwork #review #successstory #recruiting #hiring #entrylevel #job #work #fivestar

I create killer resumes and help senior professionals land $100K/$250K/$500K+ jobs ☄️ Coached clients from Meta, Disney, Amazon, and more 🏆 Executive Resume Writer 📊 LinkedIn Expert 🧠UC Berkeley Grad
A client went through 3 rounds of interviews. She didn’t advance, but: ➡️ She followed up with the hiring manager. ➡️ She asked for feedback. ➡️ She shared a personal story in her note. ➡️ She asked if they knew anyone hiring similar roles. 💫 Guess what happened next: The hiring manager passed her resume to a colleague at another company. ☄️ They interviewed her. 💥 They liked her. 🌟 They hired her. ✅ Rejection was redirected to another opportunity. If you don’t make it past a screening or interview... Follow up, network, and keep going at it. Next time you face rejection, focus on planting a new seed. Eventually, one of them will sprout. #careers #humanresources #jobsearch

How to answer "Why you left your last #Company" in the Interview. I left my last job because I felt that it was time for a new challenge and growth. While I truly appreciated the opportunities and experiences I gained there, I found myself looking for a role that aligned more closely with my long-term career goals and allowed me to make a greater impact. It was a difficult decision to leave a team I had grown close to, but I believe it's essential to embrace change and seek new horizons to continue personal and professional development. #CareerGrowth #NewHorizons #SeekingChallenge #ProfessionalDevelopment #JobChangeExplanation #InterviewQuestion

Want a better job faster? DM Me! • Ex-Google, Ex-Meta, Ex-AmEx, Ex-Salesforce, Ex-VC • CEO & Founder @ Kadima Careers
Evidently, some of us on LinkedIn actually love where we are in our careers but for everyone else, this Entrepreneur Magazine article: https://entm.ag/Ke33ua has some great insights into how to more likely get promoted at your current job. In fact, the writer Andrew Yeung is also a Xoogler and ex-Metamate so he brings a lot of street cred to the table. Although Yeung has broadened the meaning of the idiom “eat the frog” beyond its original one, the point is a good one. In fact, at Kadima Careers we are always looking through the lens of how to get hired for a better job at a company you’d actually like to work for. “Eating the frog” in the corporate workplace can help you do just that. Why? Because behavioral interview questions give everyone an opportunity to be a superhero in their own STAR story. Telling a hiring manager that you stepped up to the plate and did the crappy job (ate the frog) that your boss was avoiding during an interview could make someone really want to hire you! #howtogetpromoted #jobsearchtips #behavioralinterviews #howtogethired #ownyourcareer

Muhammad Shajeel, The hardest part of hiring sometimes is rejecting candidates from a role. It’s always best practice to come from a place of strength rather than deficiency. By telling a candidate the position they applied for doesn't work for them, the candidate can act on that. They can examine whether the role met their career goals skillset, and or whether the company or industry matched based on previous experience. When coming from a place of a fixed mindset and that one is not fit for a role, there is no room for professional development or growth. Then, the candidate gets defensive and takes the comment and all future ones to heart. It's best, too, to offer advice and give the candidate some feedback if they are outstanding and the role was not the best fit because they might be well suited for future opportunities. And as hiring managers, there are some candidates one wants to follow up with and keep on the radar. #hiringtalent #employeescreening #growthmindset #professionaldevelopment #professionalgrowth #positivethinking #positiveleadership
A candidate recently reached out to me for a position and I had to let them know they weren't moving forward in the interview process. I told them "this role isn't a fit for you". Instead of "you're not a fit for this role", normalize saying, "this role isn't a fit FOR YOU". Jobs are for people. Not the other way around. #copiedpost

Account Executive | Project Management | Account Manager | Sales Engineer | Certified in Tech Sales 🚀 #AccountManagement #TechSales #Recruitment #SalesEngineer #OpenToWork
Most people fail in the second round of interviews... In my short tenure of being in #tech I've noticed a few things between those who make it past the second round of interviews and those who don't. One big thing that stands out to me about the ones who don't is that they try their best to 'show their best selves'. Either by going down the list of accomplishments they've achieved which can come across as bragging or not having social awareness on how to have a proper back-and-forth dialogue. (Always remember interviews are a two-way street). When in reality most companies just want you to be yourself and get a gauge on if you're a cultural fit. Usually what a cultural fit consists of is: 1. Are you easy to get along with? 2. Are you a team player? 3. Are you able to leave your ego at the door? 4. Do you have a student mentality? 5. Can you be a part of team outings and let loose...lol

I once had 8 interviews—for a job I didn't get. But in hindsight, that was a good thing. ⤵️ 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 & 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 + 𝗜 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹. I was confident that I was a good fit for the role. I researched the company thoroughly. I practiced my responses extensively. Each interview seemed to go better than the last, with positive feedback that boosted my confidence. And I was so ready to do something new. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻. On paper, the role aligned with my skills and career trajectory. As the interviews progressed and I got to the final 2, I was excited—but also not excited. Maybe this job wasn't the perfect fit? Still, I wasn't sure so I continued with the process. And then, finally, after 8 interviews, I got the call. 𝗜 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝗯. Looking back, it was a blessing in disguise. That organization has laid off thousands in the last year. The role I interviewed for was eliminated. Meanwhile, I took a position that genuinely aligns with my interests and career aspirations, offering both growth and stability. Sometimes, the best opportunities are the ones we never get. #careergrowth #jobsearch #professionalgrowth

Yesterday, we welcomed a new team member who, at 50. She had never worked before. In the interview: Me: "Any work experience?" Her: "No, tried many times but never got a job." Me: "Why should we hire you?" Her: "I've always wanted to work, but my family didn't support me. Now I want to stand on my own. After every failed interview, I fixed my mistakes, learned, and improved my skills." "Congratulations, you got the job!" I admired her determination. I remember facing similar struggles when starting out. Now, when I hire, I focus on talents and skills, not just experience. #newbeginnings #hiring #nevertoolate
