I am grateful for who Miguel is and how he’s begun his tenure as California Community Foundation President & CEO. His leadership is a reason for all of us to be optimistic about the future of Los Angeles County.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our President and CEO, Miguel A. Santana, for his feature in the Los Angeles Times as one of  “L.A.’s Influential Connectors.” The piece noted, "When L.A.’s civic leaders are confronted with a financial problem, a hiring challenge, or even a full-blown humanitarian crisis, they turn to Miguel Santana for help.” The son of Mexican immigrants raised in Bell Gardens, Miguel’s exemplary career in public service has included advising on critical issues like immigration and affirmative action and managing the City of LA’s $9 billion budget through the Great Recession while reshaping its homelessness and housing policies. Now, as President and CEO of the California Community Foundation, he continues to advocate for a civic agenda that supports the thriving of all Angelenos. We commend Miguel for his outstanding contributions and steadfast commitment to creating a more equitable Los Angeles. About the Project: L.A. Influential is a new LA Times project showcasing individuals shaping Los Angeles. Read the feature here: https://shorturl.at/jbuHD  #Leadership #PublicService #CommunityImpact #LAInfluential
