This week it was cool to hang out with Hung Lee and Rina Joosten-Rabou along with a bunch of other Talent leaders in Amsterdam, to discuss the state of AI in TA - thanks for bringing us together Doeke Geertsma. What stood out for me in that discussion and in this week’s edition of Recruiting Brainfood is that my own experience of the gap continuing to widen between what the tech is capable of vs. adoption being something that seems to correlate with data shared in “The State of AI H1 2024” - 68% of companies use AI tools, only 29% see significant impact. I also really see leadership enthusiasm and appetite to adopt AI - and the data says Product/Engineering teams have adopted AI with the most impact so far - but I think in TA we are really still looking for the first killer app (amongst many ideas and pain points) or at least the first one that works effectively and consistently enough to become part of our daily workflows. Disclaimer: I didn’t “rewrite with AI” because I don’t think it’s quite the killer app ;)
You’re welcome - happy that we met 💪
