Coupled with the progress of #artificialintelligence we can expect incredible advancements, challenges, and opportunities. Like most things, the naysayers will remain pessimistic until they're the last one with the fax machine & rotary phone. Here's the future I anticipate: 💻 no more TV, Phone, Laptop - mixed-reality will get cheaper, faster, smaller, lighter and so realistic, you will have every device in one. 💾 expanded sensory experience, evolving beyond headsets and game controllers. A shift towards more sensory-oriented experiences, such as feeling, touching, and even smelling, beyond just seeing and hearing. Reality will be harder to discern from virtual. 👠shopping Imagine personalized shopping experiences with virtual try-on options and product information readily available. 🎥content diversification - beyond gaming & training to education and virtual travel. You will feel as if you're on that beach, or in that classroom, from anywhere in the world. Want to learn a language, you will be truly immersed in the village or city of your choice. Imagine exploring historical figures in 3D or dissecting virtual models in biology class.
