Many people don’t take advantage of social selling. Whether you are in sales or looking for better job opportunities (i.e. selling your time and services in exchange for a higher salary), social selling can help you. Social selling is not about selling your products online—that is e-commerce. Social selling is about showcasing your personal attributes: • Competency  • Appeal  • Trust All three attributes are essential. If you are competent and trustworthy but not appealing, you'll appear boring, people may not remember you or have the desire to buy from you or hire you. If you are appealing and trustworthy but not competent, then forget it. If you are competent and appealing but cannot be trusted, then you are... dangerous. • To demonstrate competency, share insightful content. • To build trust, ensure your profile's look and feel are consistent across all social media platforms. Maintain a consistent posting frequency; even once a month is good. • To appear appealing while keeping your topic consistent, vary your content format. Use infographics, tell stories, share video, appear in podcast, etc. Any other tips for social selling? I am in London presenting at K2 Partnering Solutions. Super engaging audience. I wish I had more time. Thank you for having me, Constanze Gunnarsson and Simon Mortlock. #socialselling
