Our CEO, Kieran Donovan recently sat down for an interview with Forbes to talk about k-ID's vision, Series A fundraising round and why the time for change is now!

We are thrilled to announce that k-ID has successfully raised a $45M Series A funding round, backed by some of the world’s top-tier venture capital firms: Andreessen Horowitz, Lightspeed, Okta, Konvoy, Z Venture Capital and TIRTA Ventures. This achievement is a validation of our vision and reflects the hard work and dedication of every member of the k-ID team. Our mission is to protect today's and tomorrow's digital youth by enabling age-appropriate experiences for all. We aim to empower kids and teens, rather than exclude them or expose them to harm, ensuring they can explore online experiences safely and honestly.

Excited to welcome Tiffany Friedel as k-ID's new Head of Talent Acquisition. Tiffany will collaborate with our founders and hiring managers to identify and hire the best kindred-spirited talent and build out our talent acquisition function. With 15 years of global talent acquisition experience in the technology, film, and gaming industries, Tiffany is a data and people-oriented leader. She began her career as a Technical Recruiter in the film and gaming sector before transitioning to tech, where she has worked for the past nine years. Tiffany has held roles at Electronic Arts, Lucasfilm, Google, and most recently led a team at Meta, focusing on executive hiring for Engineering, Go-To-Market, Design, and Product functions. Her expertise in leading teams across regions has fostered a diverse and inclusive culture, enabling everyone to thrive. We are thrilled to have you on board, Tiffany!
