What can you learn from Walmart? → A lot Have you been to Walmart recently? How'd you describe their stores? "Blah", right? Walmart has the resources..... Why not make them nice? → Because of focus. They focus on what their customers value. And, their customers prioritize one thing. Price. Rather than focusing on "random" stuff..... Their activities focus on what clients value. That activity focuses around lowering cost. Does your focus align with what your clients value? Here's one thing I've found clients value: If you take a their time, there better be ROI. If you feel like it's fluff, they probably do too. P.S. Do you agree?

Making money isn't difficult, but it isn't easy either. Look at Walmart, the world's largest company, for a decade! The model is simple, but the execution is challenging. 1️⃣ Start with your store or business. It doesn't matter if you sell pancakes or tech; as long as people buy, you've got a model. 2️⃣ Replicate the model across multiple branches, just like Walmart's founder, Sam Walton, did. You partner with each store manager. 3️⃣ As your partners grow, you invest in their dreams and duplicate the model again. Challenges? Finding the right managers, ensuring profit, and banking on the founder's abilities. Simple, but not easy! 💼🚀

🌟 The Real Boss in Business: The Customer 🌟 Sam Walton, the founder of Walmart, shared a timeless truth: “There is only one boss: the customer. And he can fire everybody in the company, from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else.” What does this mean for us in business? 👑 Customer is King: Every customer has the power to choose where they spend their money - like choosing which movie to watch. 👂 Listen and Adapt: It's crucial to understand what customers want and need, just like a chef tweaking a recipe to make it just right for their diners. 🏆 Long-term Success: Keeping customers happy isn’t just about making a sale today; it's about inviting them back again and again. Remember, in the world of business, the customer holds the ultimate power - their choice. Let's make sure we're always listening and adapting to keep them choosing us! #motivationalquotes #inspirationalquotes #entrepreneurmindset

Selling a new product directly to consumers requires a lot of communication with (potential) customers. It can be challenging, but the insights gained are invaluable. Every now and then, you receive an email that reminds you why you do what you do. Like this one: "Got the speaker hooked up driving through walmart parking lot seeing look on peoples faces listening to the jetson car 🚗 go by is priceless. Lol." It's moments like these that make all the hard work worth it. #directsales #customerfeedback #newproduct

Author "Choose the Handle that Holds" 2024| Executive & Team Leadership Development Consultant/Coach | Keynote Speaker l “Your integrity is your legacy- make leadership a lifestyle, not a job title.”
I suddenly found myself questioning my intelligence. Staring at the entrance of Costco which appeared to be about 1 mile from where I finally found a parking spot, I had to reconcile the fact that I chose to do my shopping on a weekend instead of during the week. I was here now, only thing to do is smile, face the crowds and hope for good samples. As confident as we might be in our dedication to personal quests of self improvement and in becoming smarter/wiser people, there is no avoiding the fact that we are human. Which means we will make dumb butt decisions for the rest of our lives. Now hopefully they will mostly reside in the trivial bucket, such as choosing to navigate a massive work Costco shopping trip on the busiest day of the week. But inevitably we will all make bad decisions that will carry more significant consequences than a long line at the checkout. Being human means making mistakes. It also means having the ability to learn from them and the opportunity to do things differently next time. Give yourself some grace as you head into the week to make mistakes, and have the confidence to be curious when they happen, to take accountability and own them without them owning you. #costco #nooneisperfect #mistakesarelessons #weareallhuman #mistakeshappen #baddecisions #learnfromfailure #leadershipinaction #mindfulleadership #giveyourselfgrace #accountability
