Resia Ten Oaks Development is addressing the workforce housing shortage in Houston! They are building three 12-story resilient concrete towers and the demising walls are also concrete. This team is dialed in with construction sequencing and their FORSA S.A forming system with Harris Rebar being flown in with Maxim Crane Works, LP, the first tower topped out in 60 days! Hi-Tech Concrete Pumping Services PCD, LLC is placing around 150 yards a day with CEMEX USA concrete and stripping forms the next day. The Texas School Symposium just wrapped up and it was a great success! The group explored how to build high-performance, disaster-resilient, and energy-efficient schools. Concrete schools prioritize our kids' well-being and future, serving communities for much longer in a comfortable learning environment. Thanks to the design-build teams, these schools are cost-competitive to traditional schools while providing long-term value through lower life cycle operational costs.
