Gratitude ⚖️ Ambitions Do you also sometimes struggle to be grateful in the moment because you still want to give more, achieve more, do more, or accomplish more? 💭 At least that's how I feel. The last 3 months were totally busy for me. In January I started a new role as an IT product manager and first time leader in the SAP area in BASF. So a lot to learn as you can imagine. Especially now on vacation, I realize again that despite daily journaling, I am too rarely grateful for what what is already there. Sometimes only an external impulse can help here. 💡 Let's help each other recognize what we can be grateful for. Little did I know, my journey at GBS+ Mexico at Henkel has been a continuous stream of knowledge: 1. Immersed in chemistry, witnessing the magic of polymers shaping industries and learning more about how products are actually made.🔬 2. Unveiling the intricacies of Global Trade, navigating the realm of International Commerce and submerging on the complexity of Free Trade Agreements. 🌍 3. Delving into Visual Basic and dipping into Power BI's potential. 💻 4. Exploring the realms of social media, expanding beyond my professional scope. 📱 5. Embracing the ISO 9001:2015 norm, paving my path to quality coordination. 🏆 So, have I really stopped learning? With each experience, I've debunked the myth of learning plateau. My journey with IKEA Indonesia has come to an end, and I'm deeply grateful for the growth and learning opportunities. Working at IKEA has been a dream of mine since they first opened in Alam Sutera, Tangerang. That dream came true (Alhamdulillah), and over the past two and a half years, I've had an amazing experience. Unfortunately, I am now affected by the recent layoffs. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work at IKEA. I've been part of fantastic projects, gained invaluable experiences, and collaborated with many talented individuals who have helped me grow and learn so much. During my time at IKEA Indonesia, I worked on a transformative project to enhance dashboard analytics, optimizing data visualization tools across various functions, from customer behavioural to sales, service, logistics, and loyalty programs. I also helped the implementation of Dynamics NAV as an ERP System for all IKEA stores. The most exciting one is to have been involved in establishing an IKEA warehouse as the second central fulfillment and replenishment unit for eastern Indonesia, expanding IKEA's operational reach and improving user satisfaction. Now, I'm open to new opportunities and collaborations to other business or startup grow on digital product. 𝟐𝟕 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬?? 𝐖𝐨𝐰!! 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭? - was my very structured :D way to open a meeting yesterday with transformation expert & coach Stefan Kreil working for SAP for 27 years. His answer was something like: "If you let people grow... amazing things happen." I was also working with managers at Tesco recently, where it is not at all rare that someone spent 20+ years in the company! Zoltán Jakab had a quite similar answer for the same question: "There were so many meaningful changes in my role & tasks, and I still am experiencing motivating challenges." Based on my n=2 sample size research :D, I can tell you that ➡️ change of roles and tasks ➡️ meaningful challenge ➡️ growth & learning are some most important factors why we stay at an organisation. (And how companies can retain good ppl). I AM AMAZED CONSTANTLY and never miss an opportunity to know more about the whys and hows ppl stay loyal for such an amazing amount of time.
