Amazing time at Databricks #DataAISummit! I've had the pleasure of partnering with these folks for a few years now and wow, did they deliver this week! A few takeaways to share: - Databricks is mastering the art of simplifying complexity, something very few tech co's ever achieve. Open-sourcing and the announcement of Databricks Lakehouse, which allows for ingesting of all databases, enterprise apps and cloud sources, accelerates and streamlines the overall solution. - With this, data intelligence truly can be for all size companies and for all players within the company (not just the folks with data in their title.) The democratization of insights is now achievable AND actionable. - While 91% of orgs are experimenting/investing in GenAI, 85% of customers are challenged with getting AI into production. With upgrades to Databricks Mosaic AI and an expanded collaboration with Nvidia, AI now finds further real world application. - So now People/Culture and Process become that much more important. Why? Because this democratization means everyone in the org needs to come along for the ride, ensuring both the privilege and the responsibility of data. - Partners will continue to be crucial to growth, helping to extend C level commitment (yes, it starts at the top), ongoing usage and business application, customization and production speed and quality. A quick shout out to some of the Databricks pros...Robin Sutara, James OConnor, Tony Gilbert, Barbara Gilmore, Jeanie Sun (孙洁), Sarah Branfman, Chris Camino congrats! You guys hit it out of the park this week.
