This week we hit a new milestone. The NAB Colombia launched the Impact Catalyst Collective Fund in the fundraising phase. With the leadership of NAB Colombia (local partners of GSG Impact) the fund aims at a continued growth and maturity of the Colombian impact investing ecosystem. Moreover, this will increase the capacity to fight against poverty, climate change, and many other world challenges. Maria Elvira Tamayo Jaramillo has been a key driving force to turn the idea into action and make the Colombian the region's most competitive impact investing market. The recipe: promoting key results around increased profitability and increased quality of impact measurement. This is a great opportunity for various entities out there that are looking for a groundbreaking, high-impact, ecosystem-building initiative, that will subsequently change the lives of millions. The type of impact fund that the Innpactia team has been working hard for, by developing the right legal, financial and digital infrastructure required for various actors to succeed. The fund will increase the conditions for new funds to set foot in Colombia, for new investors to turn into impact investors, for new development agencies to become involved in #innovativefinance mechanisms, and overall for the continued growth of the ecosystem.
