If you’re even slightly interested in note taking, you should check out Cleft. Audio notes have never taken off with me because I never know what to do with the word salad I’ve just spilled out into text. Then on a whim I tried Cleft. And I’ve been blown away. It’s a tool I use every single day now. It takes my audio notes and with AI organizes and lays them out in a way that are actually useful for me. I’ve used Cleft to lay out a recent product launch, helped me plan Q2, brain dump a blog post, and more. I open up the app on desktop and copy it straight into Notion (btw integration with Notion is coming soon!). Today I had an onboarding call with Jonny Cosgrove one of the founders. I don’t normally do onboarding calls for SaaS I’m testing out but something about Cleft made me want to hear more. One of the things Jonny and I chatted about is the feeling of calm after getting that stuff out. As someone who is neurodivergent being able to calm one’s brain while feeling like you’re actually moving forward is an awesome win. I learned a lot about the product, upcoming features, and what the name actually signifies: to cut through. As in cut through the noise in my head and get my ideas out. So brilliant.
