I recently spoke with a Senior Building Surveyor facing these challenges. Hindered by a top-heavy company structure, he found no opportunity for progression despite delivering Associate-level work for the past 12 months. Client relationships that he had built were winning company projects, yet he received no recognition or benefits. The Directors took on the more interesting projects, leaving him with basic tasks. Additionally, he was barred from building a team beneath him, limiting growth. Recognising the need for change, I connected him with an ideal solution.
