Interesting conversation AWS Public Sector Summit around civic engagement, research-related regulatory exploration/discovery, policy analytics, alongside different data engineering, RAG, and semantic indexing techniques to support these efforts. And fascinating share from Pitt, Mason, and Duquesne about clever federated/centralized partnerships among IT and respective campus units to solve actual business, teaching, and research problems with data, cloud, and compute vs just pushing new vendors and tech.

This year, I've attended several Google Cloud events, and they've unveiled some really handy features, particularly valuable for machine learning engineers and data engineers. Today, I'm at the Google Cloud Summit in Amsterdam. During the event, I had the opportunity to delve into presentations on LLMOps, exploring how the architecture for LLM-based solutions can be optimized for best practices. One feature that has sparked my interest is Duet AI. Imagine having a chatbot, trained on your company's metadata (i.e. Confluence documents and database schemas). You can ask about specific KPI or insight on the data, and this agent will try to find the answer from the trained metadata or even generate SQL queries and execute it on top of the database and returns the answer with analysis. It can create charts and looker dashboards to present the information! As we move forward, Gen-AI based applications are indeed maturing and becoming increasingly practical and valuable. #google #googlecloudsummit #gcp

Here is my latest blog about: Abstracting Azure Service Bus And Azure Queues To Ship Messages - https://lnkd.in/dHZfzZP2 Constructing trendy functions requires builders to always undertake newer applied sciences over time. Over the previous few years, a number of queuing applied sciences have been launched, with varied protocols and SDKs, which might make it tough for builders to rapidly undertake new applied sciences over time. On this article, I'll reveal easy methods to write a easy queuing interface that can be ... Do Like & Share :)

Summer is coming but we have Arctic chills Snowflake, a cloud computing company, has unveiled Arctic LLM, a 480 billion parameter generative AI model optimized for enterprise workloads like generating database code and SQL queries. #Arctic LLM, trained on open public web data sets, is available under an Apache 2.0 license and is free for research and commercial use. The #model, which took around three months, 1,000 GPUs and $2 million to train, is described as "enterprise-grade". It is expected to serve as the foundation for Snowflake & its customers to build enterprise-grade products and realize the value of #AI. Arctic LLM claims to outperform some other large language models on coding and language understanding #benchmarks. 🐾 Our Comment Snowflake is used by many companies, even in the gaming industry. It seems that Arctic LLM serves as a funnel into the Snowflake product ecosystem, which is an effective way of optimizing resources and tuning workflows. We will definitely give Arctic LLM a try and see how we can benefit from it! 👑 Here are our VIP alert subscribers: Vitalii Bortnik, Martyn Redstone, Aliaksei Nastsin, Sergei Sherman, Shapath Das, Guy Sebbag, Eugene Gladovskiy, Illia Shestakov, Albert Nicola, Samuel Wang, Cohi Elchadef Manobela, Adi Beker, Junwoo Yun, Maryanne Collins, Kirill Shamanskiy, Vakhtang Matskeplishvili, Odem Alagem אודם 🎡 , Shahar Butz, Marianna Inozemtseva, Asya Polyak, Guy Galin, Alisa Yurchenko, Adrian Magearu.,Elad Cohen, Chen Offek, Evgenii Raisfeld, Kamil Sawko, Michal Lissak, Eze Vidra, Yash Baid, Cosmin Tanase, Shashikiran R, Erez Rachmil, Meir Peleg, Raz Rosh, Almog Ben Simon #tech #innovation #LLM #coding #mobile #game #development
