How can anyone defend allowing illegal citizens to vote in our country's election. Isn't part of the process of becoming a citizen swearing to protect this country? Any foreign country that wants to can send millions of illegals into one area and start voting in candidates whose intent is to weaken the US. You must pledge allegiance to the United States and vow to protect her before you can cast a vote in any election. One question that comes to mind - isn't casting a vote to allow illegals a voice in our election akin to treason?

Voting as a student : ▶️ Being registered at both your home address and your term-time addresses doesn't necessarily mean you get two votes. You will need to choose one address and vote in only that area when you're voting in: UK Parliament elections UK referendums London Assembly and London Mayoral elections You can't vote at both your term-time address and your home address at these elections. Voting in more than one location is a criminal offence. For other elections you can vote at both your term-time and your home address. You can choose to vote in either or both areas (as long as the addresses are in different council areas) when you're voting in: Local council elections in England Police and Crime commissioner elections and mayoral elections Make sure you understand the rules for the election you are voting in. Voting in the October 2023 Local Government Elections The State Government is putting into action the most significant reforms to the WA local government sector in 25 years which will increase transparency, accountability and efficiency. One of the key reforms is the change from the first-past-the-post system of voting to optional preferential voting (OPV). Electors can vote for one, several or all of the candidates on the ballot. This change will be in place for the 2023 local government elections, aligning with state and federal elections. OPV will strengthen democracy by giving ratepayers a greater choice of candidates. In the United Kingdom, a voting system called "first-past-the-post" is used. Consider the following theoretical scenario: Candidate from Party A: 34% Candidate from Party B: 33.5% Candidate from Party C: 32.5% In this constituency, the candidate from Party A would be elected. Assuming such a distribution in all constituencies, all the members of parliament would be from Party A. CALL TO VOTE IS NO LONGER IN 📢🗳️ With a decline of mass parties a call to vote became less used in the campaigning as the parties shifted from convincing party members to turn out and vote to convincing swing voters to vote specifically for their party. This is also relevant for Slovakia, a country with the proportional multiparty system. Convincing voters of another party to turn out and vote means a smaller share of votes for your party. Hence, this act is counterproductive. I found a decrease in the use of call to vote on Slovak election billboards over the four elections.
