Ottawa loaned Romania $3 billion to refurbish and expand its CANDU nuclear power generation fleet. Where are the loans to build the same here back home for Canadian cities? Ontario, Quebec and Ottawa plus their private sector partners have committed almost $100 billion to build an electric vehicle supply chain. This represents an unprecedented expansion in electric load. I propose a solution in this latest Western Standard article. Pierre Poilievre Doug Ford Nathan Neudorf
Yes. This is logical. Prioritize infrastructure in Canada. Majid Jowhari
Your logic makes a lot of sense, Joseph. Thank you for this article.
A lot to break down here on the psychopathy of the Liberal party. It's a combination of psychopathy, sociopathy, agenda, and ideology. Any way you look at it, they are twisted.
As usual when government leads they do only half the job. There seems to be an inability to focus on a whole problem. If EV's are ever going to be common sense dictated adequate power must be available. This government initiated program has been designed to fail, why this I can not fathom. The cost to Canadians will be horrendous for multiple generations.

Joseph it’s easier to get kickbacks from Romania. End of story.
$3B to Romania, that leaves the door open for large Romanian donations to Libs and their foundations.

Perhaps there is a "Canadian" benefit ... SNC Lavalin now controls the Candu Reactor technology ... heard of them?

3wThis is certainly a troubling issue with not putting Canadians first. I really appreciated the article in today’s Edmonton Journal from Marc Garneau detailing the failures of the Liberal Party in protecting Canada’s interests. I put it to the Conservative Party that their policy is a pertains to funding other countries. Infrastructure projects is having parity on funding similar projects in scope when necessary for Canadians first. The fact that First Nations continue to struggle with water quality years after the Liberal government has committed to solving this problem is a good example of a Conservative government having parity policy, taking care of Canadians first.
