Greetings, LinkedIn community! What an incredible week it's been at Prima Metrics! As we continue to grow and evolve, not only in numbers but also in the diverse personalities and experiences that define us, it's the perfect time for a brief update on all things Prima. Last week, we bid a fond farewell to Aiden, our exceptional intern, as he embarks on his final year at Wits University! We'll surely miss his lively presence and sporty sandals around the office. KG is about to enjoy some well-deserved rest and relaxation, and Josh's journey to China is right around the corner! One of our standout moments was the successful launch of our official training center. We're confident that this achievement will have a significant impact on our teams. A big shoutout to Anisa and Rico for their unwavering dedication in making this a reality! Speaking of milestones, as Prima continues to thrive, we're thrilled to welcome two new members on board this February 1st – a warm Prima welcome to Peter and Byron! Our journey as a team has been nothing short of extraordinary, and we're constantly gaining momentum. Secondly, let's make sure you stay on top of your workload, your time and your balance once you're back. Having someone by your side is invaluable. Someone who can help you stay on track, work through when your confidence takes a hit, help when you get stressed about work, or guide you back to that life balance if it gets out of kilter. My type of support is a mix of coaching, mentoring, training and sound boarding ... and everything I share to help you is based on lived experience of the trials and successes in life, as well as applying the models, frameworks and habits I've spent years learning and using from the very best in the world. I've found 1:1 support to be the most effective use of time and the quickest way to improve, change, overcome or achieve anything. My clients share this view; and every one of them has told me they wish they'd reached out sooner. 2023 - You were incredible 🌟 This year has been the busiest and best year of my life and January me would be pinching herself to see what we achieved! I thought I’d share my key takeaways from the year. My 2023 Top 5: ✔️CULTURE is the key to success! I honestly think there’s nothing more powerful in team sports! Good people, open communication, trust, a collective growth mindset and determination set the foundation for any team, at any level, across any sport! ✔️INVEST in what you are passionate about: your time, your energy, your heart - you’ve got to jump in with both feet! ✔️Find a MENTOR/S that will inspire you, challenge you and believe in you. Learn as much as you can, ask questions, seek feedback! ✔️Be BOLD in the goals you set for yourself and ensure you have a clear plan on how to accomplish them. If the path isn’t clear enough… set a smaller goal that’ll get you one step closer to the big goal! ✔️If you don’t ask or put your hand up, then the answer will likely be no anyway. There’s no harm in applying for that role or applying for that course! Once you open one door, it usually always leads to another. ✔️Collective knowledge is POWER - share your experiences and knowledge, lift others up, embrace differences and empower those around you.
