Here's How You Detach Your Time From Money In 2024 First things first. STOP selling your time. START selling your knowledge. How do we do this, you might ask? The answer is simple... Here is my 4-step strategy to create a successful info product business. 1 - Pick Your Topic Your topic is the cornerstone of your info product business, so it's important you get it right. Start by asking yourself these 4 questions: • What could you deliver a TED talk on right now, with no preparation? • What do people most often ask for your help/advice with? • Are there mistakes or frustrations people go through that you feel you could fix? • What is a skill that you have mastered? The most important factor is choosing a topic aligned with a strong desire of your audience. 2 - Build Your Brand Choose your platform or platforms, and start providing value through social media content. I'd recommend using either: •LinkedIn •Instagram •Youtube Your goal here is to build an audience of people interested in your topic. This is best done through some form of lead magnet, into a call funnel. Don't just flood your social media with ads and promotions for your products. The best framework is, give, give, give, give... give again, then ask. Remember, the key is to provide continuous value, so that people want to buy your paid products. One of my clients had a banger digital product, but - No content system to promote the product (TOF)   - A landing page that merely converts (MOF) - No welcome email sequences for lead magnets (BOF) He was losing customers at every stage of the funnel. "Do I really have to spend money on a proper funnel? Wouldn't it be easier to just put an ad in with my course details and do this the 'word-of-mouth' way?" It's a fair question and here are my answers: 👉 People don't make big-money decisions in a blink. Most courses who run ads in the papers follow up with their prospects with many emails and conversations. It takes a lot of coaxing, convincing, and nurturing to create an interest and get people to invest in something they're not even sure they want. Emails and sales pages also eliminate the work you need to — talking to each person before enrollment. 👉 Without proper marketing you would have to lower the price point of the course considerably to get sign-ups. By more than half. Impressive sales pages, emails, and ads inspire trust. But by investing in proper marketing you won't need to lower the price and lose sales. 👉 Without real marketing, the results will depend solely on your reputation and reach. It's not personal, but there's a lot of competition. And people who would very much benefit from the course might not notice a single ad. Without a sales funnel, it's very rare to get more than 1-2 sign-ups. Quoting Shalva Rosenberg "Remember, once you've launched once, you can add layers to the program and the marketing. The launches build upon themselves." 

a $1B Decision... we teach this at every GTM roadshow - the HubSpot story. when Hubspot was getting started, they famously had two personas: Ollie Owner - these are folks who ran an SMB business. Think dentists, gyms, autobody shops, pizza parlors. This was Hubspot’s early bread and butter. Mary Marketer - marketers at companies between roughly 10-1000 people who were running inbound marketing. although Hubspot didn’t use our Market Investment Map in 2010 (it didn’t exist), we’ve mapped their decision point to our scoring system Hubspot’s early products appealed equally to both personas. Ollie Owner and Mary Marketer both really liked and used the content Hubspot released, the blogging capability, SEO, and the CMS that allowed them to quickly make landing pages. but the truth is that if a lower-cost or better product came along, they would have quickly switched. how do you make decisions like this?

When starting www.clickrush.io , one of the my biggest promises to myself was that I would keep our overhead as low as possible as long as it was sustainable. As a freelancer, the system of choice for my lead management was Notion.so which allowed me to use it for project management, client management and many more uses in one place for free. Notion was incredible for the purpose it served until we reached a point where it begun to limit our growth as we brought on SDR's. I tried using zapier and other 3rd party apps to piece together a workable system but nothing sufficed. This led to me testing out other systems on a paid basis to see what would work best; Hubspot, Zoho, Pipedrive, Monday and Salespype. All those systems were great for what they did well but none were the answer for our services.
