WORLD-FIRST TOOTH-REGROWING DRUG WILL BE GIVEN TO HUMANS IN SEPTEMBER The world's first human trial of a drug that can regenerate teeth will begin in a few months, less than a year on from news of its success in animals. This paves the way for the medicine to be commercially available as early as 2030.  The intravenous treatment will be tested for its efficacy on human dentition, after it successfully grew new teeth in ferret and mouse models with no significant side effects.

I was also intrigued by his post and did a little bit of digging, “USAG-1 controls the number of teeth by inhibiting development of potential tooth germs in wild-type or mutant mice missing teeth. Anti–USAG-1 antibody administration is, therefore, a promising approach for tooth regeneration therapy” And here is the original reference https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/sciadv.abf1798

Sending positive vibes to the researchers as they explore ways to enhance bone formation for teeth regeneration utilizing the approach of BMP signaling regulation via USAG-1 inhibition. This breakthrough could greatly benefit seniors and individuals of all ages. #ExcitingResearch #PotentialBreakthrough #science #research #innovation #healthcare #humantrial #drug.

I guess I need to read the articles, but my question would be how well regulated is the growth/regrowth. How do you just get a new tooth where you want it without affecting established teeth, or do you have to grind down certain teeth if they start further growth.

Curious to know the insignificant side effects, since the significant ones are still unknown!

Please let me in your clinical trials
