How many tips can we squeeze in one tip? I did my best :) Because as a group psychotherapist, I know how groups have everything that their members need. We are all auxiliary egos for each other, and the question is: Can we play together? Thanks to Dr. Franz for having me in this episode. I always learn a lot from Tim, and I think the way we collaborate or co-create each time is a great example of how our strengths and weaknesses come together to achieve our superordinate goals as a team 😍

Ask any sales or marketing professional… Launching new products and building new territories is not easy. Over a year ago my husband, Dean Peaple , joined this company to launch a new division of window coverings. Through operations and production challenges, changes in leadership and the minimal marketing support common with ‘startups’ - my husband never gave up! I have watched him be tenacious and creative, using common sense, guerilla tactics, and teamwork- always finding a way. I know the road is long, - and I admire my husbands patience and perseverance. When you work hard and see a reward with a Win like this- you have to celebrate! Most of us are so busy doing the work we do- we forget to take time to celebrate the wins. It’s as easy as 123… 1. Take a moment to reflect on your wins 2. Be proud of your accomplishments, 3. Share your gratitude with those that helped you achieve your goals. Celebrate the Wins!

All of these Psychologists have certainly made important contributions. But using citation metrics to rank "Top" scientists ignores the many other ways that scientists contribute to or harm scientific progress. As we've recently seen in various fraud and questionnable research practice investigations in the behavioral sciences, some scientists may look astounding on a limited number of dimensions such as citations or publications, but pollute the scientific literature with unreliable research or as toxic mentors and colleagues. By focusing on individual achievements, such metrics incentivize scientists to do whatever is best for their careers, regardless of what is best for science. We need to move towards a system when scientists are rewarded or punished for their entire range of contributions to science, not just their individual achievements. Well said. I would only add... Teammates also require a safe environment that allows for camaraderie, is generous with praise, and yes, allows failure (the bounce-back can be a glorious thing.) Unfortunately, many managers in leadership positions foster an unhealthy environment by pitting teammates against each other. In my experience, it certainly wasn't to encourage healthy competition, but rather, to identify loyal subjects. I would much rather lead a team than manage a staff. #greatleadershipbreedsloyalty #empatheticleadership

President Biden’s visit with China’s leader about China’s proliferation of fentanyl was also backed up by our great President Biden defending America’s prescription drug authenticity when President Biden brought to the fore front China’s sales of the prescription drug presses for our U.S. expensive brand name drugs like “Zocor, Toprol, Synthroid, etc. Labs filing our Brand name prescriptions have cut costs and used generic or varied inert ingredients. Causing me to be advised by EMT’s not to take anymore of my medications filled by a Mexico Lab that I had started taking on 3/3/2023. I was advised to file an Iowa Pharmacy Complaint, which I did, but I have not heard anything is being done by Iowa’s Republican leaders, about labs using China’s Brand name pill presses to fill Iowans prescriptions. Foreign Less monitored labs that fill expensive Brand name prescriptions with unknown or generic or fentanyl laced ingredients. Can stamp out pills that contain ingredients that kill. Thank you President Biden for bringing this life-threatening issue with China’s dictatorial leader.
