Content creation is just the tip of the iceberg. The real promise of #AI is its potential to completely transform how work gets done, driving productivity and helping teams unlock efficiency at scale.
AI goes far beyond content creation - it has the power to completely reshape how we work, driving productivity and unlocking efficiency across all aspects of business.
I've seen AI help me in my content work only because I am already an experienced professional in this arena. There are plenty of AI tools that I use that truly have been lifechanging an a solopreneaur (Fathom, Hemingway) because they are improving and speeding up tasks I'm already skilled in. But the vast majority of people jumping into content creation with no background or training are going to run to ChatGPT and start consistently posting the most garbage posts you've ever seen. And side note - people don't seem to notice/care --- we are in a time where critical thinking skills are almost completely absent. It's so frustrating.
Everyday I read content that has not been fact checked, or written for the target audience - AI or not - if you don't know the topic intimately so you can readily spot errors - don't make yourself and or your clients look foolish -
I like what y'all's did for McDonalds with all the technology and stuff you left in all their restaurants. Have you ever been to one? Have you ever seen 4 people using the side by side back to back ordering kiosks at the same time? How tiny were these people? Did they have kids in tow? Any of them get confused by the UI?
Couldn't agree more. I run an influencer company and so content creation and leaving up creativity is talked to a lot. Maybe too much. I think brands, creators and consumers win if the work can be done better, faster, smarter. That's when we all win.
AI feels very scary to many but I feel it is like most moves forward, jobs will shift not decrease. New better roles will be created and upskilling will allow people to earn more and increase their value. AI is here to stay now it's time for everyone to embrace and grow with it.
Deploying AI with trust, ethics, and safety in mind is definitely crucial for building long-term customer relationships.
AI needs something supplemental to keep it consistently conceptual.......human judgement

1moI'm not sure anyone who says content creation is going to get easier and more efficient has ever actually worked in content and regularly used AI. It's helpful with outlines and finding relevant info quickly from, say, documentation or an interview. But EVERY, SINGLE PIECE of content -- whether outlined or written with AI -- requires so much editing for accuracy and prose that I honestly question whether it saves anyone any time. And anyone who says otherwise is selling an AI product, most likely for VC money or to pump stock prices.
