It says camping but applies to many other areas. Happy 4th all. When the time is right raise a toast to those that were brave enough to make it happen. Enjoy your family, friends and loved ones. Work to live! Don’t live to work! Tomorrow is not promised.
I absolutely love this post! It makes me think of when I was a kid and our family would go camping at Lake Mendocino every summer. We sure do have some stories. I remember we would collect clams from the water and make a soup out of them. One year my cousin and I sat on a log that we didn't know had tar on it. It was hot that summer and the tar stuck to our legs and then gave us one heck of a sunburn.
Good times! 😀

What are you actively leaving better than you found it?
🫡 I was a Scout.
🌲 Loved the camping, hiking, and canoeing.
💫 This camping mantra is now one of my life’s northstars:
💪 Leave it better than you found it.
In camping it means:
‣ Erase signs of your (or others’) camping.
‣ Have a low-impact presence in nature.
‣ Leave no trace.
In my life and career, it means:
‣ Support others as they gain health and flourishing.
‣ Challenge unjust systems and work for justice.
‣ Leave programs and organizations healthier.

#GLOBALSOUTHALERT: #MORTGAGEE (TYPICALLY A LENDER SUCH AS A #BANK) NOT A #TRUSTEE FOR THE #MORTGAGOR (#BORROWER) –"It is well settled that a mortgagee is not a trustee of a power of sale for the mortgagor. Once the power has accrued, the mortgagee is entitled to exercise it for his own purposes whenever he chooses to do so. It matters not that the moment may be unpropitious and that by waiting a higher price could be obtained. He has the right to realize his security by turning it into money when he likes.
