The weekend is off to a great start. I am honored to have had the opportunity to share the stage at U.S. Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz's annual Small Business Workshop at Nova Southeastern University. Congresswoman Schultz has dedicated her public life to serving South Floridians and today's presentation to the small business community was inspiring. Today's Small Business Workshop provides increased access to resources that will help propel small businesses in Broward County and beyond. Dilawar Syed, Deputy Administrator, U.S. Small Business Administration presented on the SBA resources available to small businesses and answered questions from the audience. George Gremse, SCORE Mentors Broward, addressed the participants and I look forward to hearing more about the how today's workshop impacts the small businesses in attendance. Dr. George Hanbury, NSU's President & CEO, welcomed the participants kicking off the event. Small businesses are the heart of the community and the Alan B.
