Dear Friends & Colleagues: It is with mixed emotions that I announce my recent retirement from Wingspire Capital. Although I will remain involved with the continued success of Wingspire in an advisory capacity, I am bidding farewell to the disciplines of my role of President & COO. My departure will accommodate some desired personal flexibility for my wife and I, while remaining an active participant within the industry. During these past five years the co-founders of Wingspire, along with nearly two dozen additional highly skilled teammates have built a successful and respected diversified commercial finance platform. I am proud of our accomplishments and immensely grateful to David Wisen and the entire Wingspire organization for the support, collaboration, and camaraderie we've shared during my time here. I am also humbled to all of you reading this post whose professional activities center upon the debt capital finance industry for having the confidence in me, and our team….we could not have built Wingspire without your support. Thank you for being an integral part of my professional story and I am looking forward to staying connected with you and crossing paths in the near future. Warmest Regards, John Rosin

I think I'm setting a new goal for H2 this year: > To do what I can to dispel the stereotype that Portfolio-XX or Fractional-XX services are provided by 'near retirement' folks looking to 'slow-down' a little. We're just getting started at Mettryx, not slowing down; I'm personally busier than ever (in a vaguely work-life balanced way); and although I'm turning 42 this week, there's considerable life in the old-dog yet...! Where to start though? Provide great commercial and financial support to our existing clients = a given... Content campaigns aren't exactly my forte, so any other thoughts?! #fractionalcfo #portfolioFD #mettryx

Starting 2024 off "Concourse-Strong" I have loved being part of a native-remote company in Concourse Global, a part of EAB- and now part of a larger remote-friendly org (EAB... ) But getting to see these folks in person reminds me of just how special this team is- and I chalk that up to a number of things: 1. Daily open zoom room- allowing our team to stay connected and maintain a respectful-casualness to our daily chats. It also means that when we do gather in person, there's no need for intros/ice breakers- and we can dive into the big stuff! 2. Monthly/Quarterly (or weekly, if you're a dev, apparently!) pure fun gatherings. Equate it to a happy hour, if you like- but we love to play skribbl.io or Code Names. 3. Truly talented, mission-driven individuals and solid, foundational leadership. It's gonna be a good year, folks. Let's go!

I'm very excited to announce that Wave Welcome is one of the newest recipients of the Prince George's County Economic Development Corporation's Economic Development Incentive (EDI) Fund. Any business owner knows that access to affordable seed capital is just as important as finding and hiring top talent for ensuring the sustained success of any venture. Lack of timely access to funding is where many businesses fail, particularly for minorities, which is why initiatives like the EDI Fund are critical for growing and scaling commercial ventures.
