Yes to all of this John! I am currently reading Right Kind of Wrong: The Science of Failing Well by Amy Edmondson and not all failures are created equal. I am learning alot about how to think about failure, innovation and progress as a result. It's also why my husband I started our firm as hourly-only. We believe it's time to innovate BEYOND the AUM model to increase accessibility to independent, objective financial advice. It's been humbling to say the least because innovation is not instant. It's incremental.

Your strategy for putting failures in perspective is crucial for any entrepreneur.
I love the thought of I either win or I learn. For marketing it is different levels of risk versus investing clients' money. Great discussion John Prendergast
All of the biggest realizations in business have come from learning from mistakes. I love that closing line "people that are the most happy are the most curious"
This 100% makes me think of the phrase "adapt or die."
Innovate. Innovate. Innovate. Don't get left behind. John Prendergast
Being innovative in your field Taking steps to make yourself unique will definitely have an impact John Prendergast Good to get back my LinkedIn account after weeks Really missed your valued content
There is always an opportunity for change. And most of all, when that change happens with intention Great reminder John Prendergast
