FAQ – is the payment of my reservation all right? This one is a typical question about which our resident service is contacted. The reason is understandable – the credit card information is given at the time of booking, but the card is charged closer to arrival. The reason for this is quite practical – charging for the accommodation is made after the cancellation period has expired, so that possible cancellations are as streamlined as possible. This varies in different types of reservations but is commonly 24 or 48 hours in shorter and 7 or 14 days in longer reservations. Our residents also don't need to worry about possible payment issues, because our resident service always makes sure that everything is ok in the reservation prior to arrival. They also contact our guests personally if there have been any issues with the payment. Therefore, residents can always be assured – our professional Host and Sales Service is always at their disposal and takes good care of our guests. #hiisihomes #hiisihotels #asiakaskokemus #palvelukokemus #majoitus #matkailu #suomalainenyritys #tilapäiskodit #väliaikaisetkodit #kalustetutasunnot #hotelli #servicedapartments #accommodation

According to USA Today, it is interesting to note that some have ranked the Penang Hill as the worst tourist trap in Asia and number 9 in the world....yay, we are number 1 in Asia!!! 😅 But seriously, I think the source of this is the local vs foreigner pricing system is causing a lot of discontent (understandably) among foreign tourists at various attractions nationally, not just in Penang Hill. In this case it’s RM 30 for normal to RM 80 for fast lane for non-Malaysians. While the “normal” ticket price is comparable to the Hong Kong Peak Tram, the difference is that over there it’s the same price for locals and non-locals. The RM 80 fast ticket is overpriced by any standards.

While you expand your hotel brand portfolio across the world.... What can we learn from hotel expansions in key cities in United States and People's Republic of China? A cities infrastructure, transportation network, accessibility and 100s of other factors play a role to determine what location will offer you a sustainable strategic advantage = higher profit margins for decades to come.... The function of ring roads are quite similar across the world, which makes it interesting to assess why many cities in USA open hotels on ring roads and main arteries, while in China hotels are more concentrated in the centre of a city.... The contribution of room revenue by Chinese tourists in Erawan’s portfolio was 143% of 2019 levels suggesting possible that wealthy Chinese are still traveling but the middle classes may not be . Erawan’s luxury properties had an occupancy rate of 75% with an ARR of 6,168 and RevPAR of 4,654 baht Their midscale properties had an occupancy rate of 81% with an ARR of 2,998 baht and RevPAR of 2,440 I like their clear and concise presentation which is at the link below : https://lnkd.in/gzxdEJXM
