SiriusXM just released a new report for advertisers about digital audio. Now, we know I'm biased, but... Pretty insightful data: 75% of the population listens to digital audio. Of those, only 36% subscribe to traditional TV. 900% - that's how much more trusted podcasts are to TV. 2300% is that figure for digital audio vs social media. 94% - that's how much more time Gen Z spends with digital audio vs CTV. The big takeaway for me is this: Your customers are spending 31% of their media time with audio, yet it typically only accounts for 9% of ad spend. Seems like territory ripe for the taking, no?
