Another big licensing deal in podcasting! In addition to selling the audio podcast inventory, Amazon will distribute video episodes and translate them for global distribution. These types of deals show how effective podcasting can be in proving IP. When promoting a discount, which should we use? $15 off regular price? Or 19% off regular price? Research across several research teams repeatedly showed that when the regular price was less than $100 (actually 100 irrespective of currency), expressing a discount as a percentage created larger appeal than an absolute discount amount. However, when the product was more than $100, an absolute discount amount (e.g.: $25 off) was preferred by customers.
