The essence of genuine engagement in today's public sphere is not merely about being heard, but about remaining authentic amidst a sea of loud and conflicting voices. At Moxie Strategies, we uphold a quant-first approach because we believe that authenticity isn't just about the message, but how you substantiate it. Check out my ROI-NJ piece where I delve into how quantitative analysis empowers organizations to stay true to their core values while effectively engaging with their audiences. This method helps us navigate through the noise and focus on what really matters—authentic connections and tangible outcomes. Read on to see how a data-driven strategy can make a real difference.

While many of us see LinkedIn and other digital channels as tools to broadcast and share, their value as a tool for listening should not be undermined. Practicing active listening leads to thoughtful and inclusive dialogues, and allows us to better understand an individual’s (and society’s) full diversity of positions, concerns, and goals. In doing so, we often find a large majority of people hold views that are more nuanced than we might have believed, and who are hungry for positive change and progress. The Art of Public Relations: Necessary Elements for the Perfect Pitch. ➡️ Element 5 Newsworthiness: A good pitch is newsworthy. When working on my pitch, I focus on what makes my business unique and relevant, as well as what my niche industry is. I then include what is newsworthy or relevant or cutting-edge to the current times. – Sonia Singh, Center of Inner Transformations Source: Rolling Stone Culture Council ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 📍NYC ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ *⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ *⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ *⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ *⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ *⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ *⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ *⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ *⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #bklynitemedia #publicrelations #socialmedia #publicist #nycbusinessowner #socialmediastrategist

Ever noticed how some public affairs campaigns just click while others miss the mark? It's rarely about the strength of the message but whether the campaign hits the right note with your audience. Put another way: if the campaign’s message is about itself and not about the audience, it’s dialed to the wrong frequency. Here's a game plan for making sure your campaigns don't talk at people: - Make it about them: Start by aligning your message with what actually matters to your audience. Forget persuasion as the end goal; think connection. Dial into their frequency. - Walk in their shoes: Understand your audience inside and out. What moves them? What concerns them? This isn't just about data; it's about empathy. - Speak their language: Use their frames, not yours, to shape the conversation. It's about crafting stories that start where they are, not where you want them to be. This approach can be transformative. It turns your campaigns into conversations, and those conversations into actions. Communication = connection.
