The bustling metropolis of Phoenix has undoubtedly captivated the minds of many, including those in the fast-paced tech industry. Its success has even earned it the moniker "The City of Growth," thanks to the thriving tech sector across Grand Canyon State. Arizona was ranked seventh in the nation for launching tech startups in 2019, a testament to its stable business climate and abundant resources. Furthermore, the state is a powerful driver of economic growth. It would be negligent of me not to acknowledge the contributions of successful tech entrepreneurs, such as the following individuals: Gregg Scoresby, Greg Head, Faze Sharif, Narendran (Naru) Muraleedharan, Anthony Kennada, Chris Ronzio, Michael Bookout, Chris Scheid, Michael Malone, Adam Laor, Morgan Dollard, to name a few. #innovation #techstartups
Scottsdale has been named the best city nationally for jobs, with Tempe and Chandler not far behind. Researcher WalletHub evaluated 182 U.S. cities across 31 indicators, ranging from openings per job seeker and overall employment growth to average starting salaries, unemployment rate, commute times and affordable housing. Largely on the basis of its 12% job growth, Scottsdale took the top spot in the study. Arizona's employment engines, as the study showed, remain centered around Phoenix and the East Valley.

When considering big city life with high-paying and competitive jobs, many people might look to the coasts in the United States. However, they might want to start looking more inland. With a top-ranking economy and multiple cities ranked top five in the nation for resilience and growth, it’s no surprise that Utah also has the most competitive cities for highly paid jobs, according to a new study by Career.io. The study examined data from LinkedIn to evaluate and rank each state in the U.S. and its major cities by the daily number of applicants for local jobs with high salaries. | By Emma Pitts #salary #jobmarket

Yes, that's correct. Sunbelt cities in the southern and western parts of the United States are experiencing a surge in job growth and economic activity. According to a recent report by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, several Sunbelt cities top the list of the fastest-growing job markets in the US. Some of the top-performing Sunbelt cities include: Phoenix, Arizona: The city has seen a 4.8% increase in job growth over the past year, driven by growth in healthcare, education, and technology. Austin, Texas: The city has a low unemployment rate of 3.1%, thanks to the strong growth in the technology and healthcare sectors. Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas: The region has a diverse economy and has seen a 3.3% increase in job growth over the past year, led by the finance, healthcare, and transportation industries. Nashville, Tennessee: The city has a thriving healthcare sector and has seen a 2.9% increase in job growth over the past year. Charlotte, North Carolina: The city has a strong banking and financial sector and has seen a 3.1% increase in job growth over the past year. The growth in Sunbelt cities is driven by a combination of factors, including favorable business climates, lower taxes, and a lower cost of living compared to some of the more expensive coastal cities. This trend is expected to continue as more companies look to relocate to these regions, attracted by the availability of talent and lower operating costs. #SunbeltCities #BoomingJobMarkets #PhoenixJobs #AustinTXJobs #DallasFortWorthJobs #NashvilleJobs #CharlotteJobs #SouthernEconomy #WesternEconomy #JobGrowth #EconomicGrowth #BusinessClimate #CostOfLiving #TalentPool #LowerTaxes #GrowingCities #FinanceJobs #FastestGrowingJobMarkets #TechnologyJobs

Americans are heading South — and so are their jobs. A new analysis from the Economic Innovation Group finds that the cities that used to be employment superpowers no longer hold that title. The shift is in large part a result of skyrocketing housing costs in coastal cities. The cities with the lowest average wages are experiencing the fastest job growth. While coastal powerhouses like San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, and Boston used to create new jobs at a much faster clip, Sunbelt metros like Gainesville, Georgia, and Hilton Head Island in South Carolina, are now leading in job creation. Let me guess: you have been thinking about relocating to New York City, and then you found my account. People really love living in New York City! Besides the obvious: the energy, the food, the international flair and diversity, the museums, the shopping, the weather....here are three reasons why people are relocating to our state. 1. The market is fairly neutral, but inventory numbers are improving with about 3% more listings year over year. With a little creativity (and maybe a bit of patience) there are a lot of opportunities for buyers! 2. Job growth is strong. Private sector jobs in New York City rose by 34,000 year-over-year in March 2024. Gains occurred in private education and health services, leisure and hospitality, financial activities, and other services. Unemployment hovers under 5% and remains on the decline year-over-year. 3. Everything you need is right outside your front door! From pharmacies and grocery stores to parks and public transportation, there’s never been a more convenient time to live in NYC. Everything you need is right at your fingertips and once you learn the MTA (I promise, it’s easy) you can get anywhere within minutes - no sitting in traffic!
