Keys for Kids: How to Develop an Entrepreneurial Spirit? Key #1 – Self-Confidence Focus on your vision, including your ideas, goals, connections, and strengths. Build upon your capabilities (what you already know, feel good about, and can do), and be openminded about how to extend these. Key #2 – Time Focus on carving out time to do more and to pursue possibilities—such as tackling new ventures; finding informational, technological, collaborative, or other supports; exerting effort; and maximizing opportunities that arise. Try something FINICKY such as mosaic pictures made with various kinds of seeds; UNUSUAL such as original sculptures made from pinecones, or wire hangers, or dried pasta; potentially (but not really) CREEPY such as gravestone rubbing; TECHNICALLY DEMANDING such as robotics; or DIFFICULT such as intricate nail polish art. HEAR birds, wind in branches, children’s chatter, or rumbles in the sky. TOUCH what’s rough, mushy, fuzzy, or spongy around your house or elsewhere. TASTE what’s sour, sweet, bitter, spicy, or salty.
