I'm a power user for engaging with comments on relevant hashtags and engaging with prospective customers on DMs? Sick, I'll take that Joanna Williams! TikTok is a prayer answered. Seriously I agree about focusing on social listening. I've been doing it daily. Even asking TikTok users in discord questions. I mean talking to my prospective customers on voice calls. It's powerful. Have you tried that? I say prospective because I'm still developing the brand before I start selling. I had to pull something from the formula (it's a supplement gummy) because I found a trend that was talking negative about beta alanine

Duckplump 🤭 content > conversation in comments > commerce. It’s sounds easy but it’s what happens that makes the content take hold that is important, it can only be born from those neighbourhoods it can’t be forced or manufactured or dictated. People first, always. But you can’t just say you’re people first and hope you get lucky you’ve got to be in there, hanging around, listening, playing, watching and getting closer. Instead of decision makers getting more distant the higher they climb, the bigger their offices get and the more expensive their vests…

Fashion execs need to stop blaming the macro environment and start understanding their power users. Speed and relevance are everything in social commerce. Until they get this right, they’ll keep closing doors instead of opening new chapters.
